At the age of 15, Willis Software founder Samuel Willis taught himself to write computer code, having developed an interest in electronics and ICT. Before finishing his final GCSE exams he sold his first piece of software, a chemistry game that ran on the original Palm Pilot tablet.
Over the next few years, Willis Software was organically grown into a fully-fledged software development company, catering for clients across a wide range of industries.
In 2013-14, Willis Software was awarded a UnLtd Entrepreneurship Grant from the University of East Anglia.
In 2016, the business was incorporated and became Willis Software Limited, a company limited by shares and registered in England and Wales no. 10000507.
Willis Software is able to take an idea and, in close consultation with the client, develop it into a stylish and functional piece of software. Projects have included: bespoke websites, iOS applications, Apple Watch applications, Android applications, Mac OS X applications, Windows applications and Raspberry Pi custom hardware.
